The Brand

True Origin Skincare is a tallow-based skincare line formulated in Saratoga Springs, Utah. The flagship product is Deep Hydration Whip, a whipped tallow body butter that works as a moisturizer, treatment serum, and barrier cream in one jar. Carried in select holistic medical clinics. No essential oils, no synthetic fragrance, no preservatives.

Founder Story

James Giles spent years trying to resolve a severe skin condition. 3 ER visits. A gallbladder removal. 30 biopsies, steroids, and creams that went nowhere. When doctors offered chemotherapy as a last resort, he started researching on his own. Tallow was the only thing that worked. He started making it himself. True Origin was built from that.

5 Key Talking Points
Not all tallow is the same. Most brands use trim fat. That's the fat from steak. It smells and has the wrong fatty acid profile. True Origin uses suet, the organ-surrounding fat, from regenerative farms. Grass-fed doesn't mean what people think. It doesn't require pasture access or rule out confinement. Regenerative sourcing does.
Tallow mirrors your skin's own oil. Its fatty acid profile is identical to sebum. Your skin recognizes it and knows what to do with it. Most moisturizers are 60–80% water. They evaporate. Tallow doesn't.
Packed with bioactives, not fillers. Sea buckthorn (omega-7, antioxidants), rosehip (nature's retinol), castor, meadowfoam, squalane. No olive oil, no coconut oil, no cheap fillers that clog pores.
A little goes a long way. Apply a pea-sized amount to damp skin right after a shower. Think of it less like a lotion and more like a serum. A little precision goes further than a lot of guesswork. The two most common first reactions: "first tallow that didn't smell" and "first that didn't feel heavy or greasy."
The only tallow in holistic medical clinics. Formulated with ingredients trusted by integrative physicians. Now available in select holistic medical practices.
What Not to Say
"Treats eczema" → Say: "I've used it on my eczema-prone skin and it tolerated it"
"Prevents stretch marks" → Say: "I used it through my whole pregnancy and didn't develop stretch marks"
"Safe for pregnancy" → Say: "I checked the ingredient list. No retinoids, no essential oils, nothing on the standard pregnancy avoidance lists"
"Clinically proven" → Say: "I trust it because it's formulated by someone who spent years researching this for his own skin condition"
"Anti-aging" → Say: "my skin looks more even" or "I noticed less texture." Describe what you actually saw.
"Chemical-free" → Say: "no synthetic additives" or list exactly what isn't in it
"Honey tallow is fine" → Honey introduces moisture into an anhydrous formula. It will mold. Don't recommend it.
Recommend any tallow with olive oil or coconut oil → Both are comedogenic (pore-clogging). True Origin uses neither.

Tips format · "Things I wish I knew"
Creator shares a list of things they didn't know about tallow before trying it. Texture, smell, absorption. Conversational, no hard sell.
For True Origin, add: Suet vs. trim fat. The smell difference. No essential oils masking anything. Pea-sized on damp skin. First reactions people have.

GRWM / Yapping · Bedtime routine
Creator recaps their day while going through a nighttime routine. Tallow comes up naturally as the moisturizer step. Casual, long, feels like a phone call with a friend.
For True Origin, add: Apply on damp skin post-shower. How little you need. It doesn't sit on top like a lotion. Mention it carried in holistic clinics if it comes up naturally.

Product showcase · Ingredient breakdown
Creator holds the jar and walks through what's in it and what isn't. Direct, confident, no fluff. Positions the product by what it leaves out as much as what it includes.
For True Origin, add: No essential oils, no olive oil, no coconut oil. Sea buckthorn, rosehip, squalane. Regenerative sourcing. No water as a filler. Every ingredient has a reason.

First try · 11.92% ER · 5.5M views
Mom tries tallow in her skincare routine for the first time on camera. Authentic, unscripted. The reactions are what made it perform. She wasn't selling anything.
For True Origin, add: Real first reaction to the texture. Whether it absorbed or sat on skin. The smell (or lack of it). How your skin felt the next morning.

Debunking · Myth vs. fact
Creator takes a common objection about tallow (it's greasy, it smells, it clogs pores) and answers it directly with their own experience. Works well with skeptical audiences.
For True Origin, add: Suet doesn't smell like steak. It absorbs because it matches your skin's fatty acid profile. Not all tallow is the same. Essential oils are what make other tallows smell weird, not the tallow itself.
Sensitive skin · What I switched from
Creator talks through what their skin was reacting to in conventional skincare and what they switched to. Personal, specific, story-driven. High trust format for reactive skin audiences.
For True Origin, add: No essential oils (common irritant). No synthetic fragrance. No preservatives. Formulated without ingredients on pregnancy avoidance lists. Carried in holistic medical clinics.
Comparison · Tallow vs. conventional moisturizer
Creator holds up two products and compares ingredients, texture, absorption side by side. Factual, not combative. The visual contrast does the work.
For True Origin, add: Water as first ingredient on most lotions. 60–80% water that evaporates. Tallow has no water. Show the ingredient list. Short list vs. long list of unrecognizable names.
30-day check-in · What changed
Creator shares what they noticed after 30 days of consistent use. No big claims. Just honest observations about texture, feel, and routine. Performs well because it feels believable.
For True Origin, add: How little product you ended up using. Whether your other moisturizers started collecting dust. Skin texture observations. How it worked on damp vs. dry skin.
